Hello there, my name is Yangxuan, I am the owner and creator of ArtisanDuo.

Since I was a kid, I always enjoyed creating things with my hands. In 2017, I coincidently got into this beautiful world of Macramé and fell in love with it. That was only the beginning of my creative journey…

Before I became a professional fiber artist, I never considered myself a creative person. Nowadays, I believe everyone can be creative if they allow themselves to be.

My love for nature has led me to the world of plant dye, a unique and environmentally-friendly way to add color to fabrics and other materials. Because of that, I can create unique Macramé pieces that are never the same.

My interest in spirituality and self-compassion has also inspired me to combine Macramé with seven chakras and create special and original designs. I am learning everyday to observe my thoughts and emotions without judgment, and channeling them into the creation of our fiber art.

I am grateful that I have the chance to introduce you to my creative world, it is not just about a piece of fiber art, it is about creating a peaceful surrounding for you to slow down and appreciate life.
